       The CFD-50 SDD MetaFridge is a WHO PQS certified vaccine refrigerator that maintains a temperature between 2-8 °C with multi-day holdover/autonomy during extended power outages or low-light conditions. It includes integrated power protection, a display showing 30 days of temperature and alarm history, onboard logging of temperature and diagnostic data, and it supports remote monitoring of performance data.

• The CFD-50 SDD MetaFridge provides safe, solar-powered vaccine storage for health facilities that have minimal or no mains power, and extreme ambient temperatures.
• Extensively tested ColdSafe thermosyphon technology keeps vaccines cold with no risk of freezing through 5+ day periods with inadequate sunlight.
• MetaFridge patented technology is licensed for manufacture to Aucma.

 

 

MetaFridge™ vaccine refrigeration and its enabling ColdSafe™ technology are developed by Global Good. ColdSafe consists of an ice reservoir coupled to a thermosyphon wrapped around the vaccine chamber, passively providing safe and stable storage temperatures, and multi-day holdover.

The CFD-50 SDD is pre-qualified by the World Health Organization (WHO) and meets specifications for E003/RF06.3 Solar Direct Drive Refrigerator, E006/TR06.3 30-Day Temperature Record, E007/EHC1.1 Energy Harvesting. The optional remote monitoring module meets E006/TR03.1 Programmable Remote Temperature Monitoring System.

• Provides reliable solar-powered vaccine storage for health facilities that have minimal or no mains power and extreme ambient temperatures
• Keeps vaccines at a stable 2 to 8 °C with no risk of freezing
• Offers 5+ days of holdover during periods of inadequate sunlight at ambient temperatures of 43 °C and even longer at lower ambient temperatures
• Calculates and displays remaining holdover time
