Z1 20155838 described in the Patent as "an insulated box consisting of six interlocking insulation panels", and characterised by the innovative method of corner jointing of the panels. Each panel is manufactured from closed cell rigid Polyurethane Foam, and contains an embedded VIP. The innovative corner jointing method, and the embedding of the VIP's, reduce thermal bridging, which occurs when areas of higher thermal conductivity in the insulation system allow thermal energy to be lost from the temperature controlled space. The PU Foam core also protects the VIP's from damage.
